Reducing Tee

The primary function of a Tee in piping systems is to create a 90° branch from the main pipeline. Typically, there are two types: the equal tee and the reducing tee. An equal tee, also known as a straight tee, is used when the branch has the same diameter as the main pipeline. Conversely, a reducing tee, or unequal tee, is employed when the branch has a smaller diameter than the main pipeline.
