TEE
Tee welding joints are generated when two sections overlap at a 90° angle, resulting in the edges of a plate or component coming together in the center to form a ‘T’ shape. Tee joints are a sort of fillet weld that can also be generated when a tube or pipe is welded to a base plate. To produce derivations on the main pipe, welded tees are employed. They are constructed from electrically welded pipes and, for higher diameters, plates. Fitting Service provides typical tees, which create a side deviation from the pipe while leaving the rest of the section unchanged. Because of the complicated load distribution, the tee branch connection is weakened.Â
Emcor Engineering manufactures Welded Reducing Tees with branch outlets that are smaller than the run. Equal Tee and Equal Cross Fittings are available in a variety of sizes, making them perfect for space-constrained interconnects. Steel tee is a T-shaped pipe fitting with three branches that comes in two varieties: Equal Tee and Reducing Tee. Both are used to divide pipelines to alter flow rate and change direction. Emcor Engineering manufactures Welded Fittings Tee and supplies high quality Tee at the most competitive prices on the market. Welded Fittings Tee can only be used in conjunction with ASME Pipe.
